About the Golden Retriever Breed

While a Golden Retriever is an admirable companion and very good with small children, he is also an active, athletic dog that needs regular exercise, attention, and training, especially in the puppy and teenage stages. Goldens have a strong compulsion to “fetch & carry”; every Golden needs toys to learn proper retrieval or he’ll carry anything available- shoes,gloves,even throw rugs or sofa pillows.

Rocky Lawn Acres‘ Golden Retriever puppies will grow to weigh anywhere from 65-85 pounds and are all registered with AKC.
